Pastors Ronald and Kathleen Verna are licensed and ordained ministers, ministering for over 30 years with an apostolic and prophetic message that challenges the status quo of religion and ritual.  In 1994, they established PureSpring Global Commission, a strategic missions base that mobilizes leaders into kingdom assignments for cultural engagement from local to global spheres. With a vision for local, urban ministry, the Vernas planted CrossTown Church International in 2006 in Boston's inner-city. Deepening this commitment to city ministry, both Pastors Ronald and Kathleen have served on several community boards, including Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative, The Greater Boston Legal Initiative, Dorchester Bay Economic Development and Boston Parents Organizing Network. Serving the Greater Metropolitan Boston area, they serve as pastoral advisors for healing ministers through the Boston Healing Rooms. For the past fourteen years, they have equipped hundreds of believers through PureSpring Institute's School of Prophetic Leadership. As co-conveners of the Community of Apostolic and Prophetic Practice (CAPP Network), they are growing a regional network of existing and emerging multi-sector leaders in New England. The Vernas have been married for the past 32 years and have one adult son, Kenan. Central to their philosophy of ministry is building strong and healthy marriages and families and nurturing future generations.
